Radiesse™ is a dermal filler that is made of smooth calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres (diameter of 25µm to 45µm) suspended in a sodium carboxymethylcellulose gel carrier.
How does Radiesse work?
Radiesse works by stimulating the growth of new collagen over time. The result is a soft and natural looking correction of lines that may last 6-12 months.
Does a radiesse treatment hurt?
This injectable is mixed with lidocaine to improve comfort during injection. Your Dermatologist may also apply a topical numbin cream to help with the pain of the injection.
Are there any risks associated with Radiesse?
As with all injections, there is a risk of infection and bruising. Radiesse has minimal risk of allergic reaction and is a very safe cosmetic procedure. www.radiesseusa.com
